“I don’t use social media much, ironically that is how I found you”. Says my amazing bride below.
It is common for me to befriend my clients on social media. Allows me to tag them in sneak peeks, blog posts, and well it just shows we’re best friends, really.
It also would not be the first time I have had a couple plan their wedding from out of state. Mostly due to recent moves to another state, but their home belonged in San Diego. So why not celebrate a wedding in the most gorgeous weather city ever? (minus the gloomy rain we have been experiencing these last few weeks (ugh)).
For this reason, an engagement shoot and a wedding typically all happens in a week…and I LOVE THAT.
Some people do not like it, but I think it is such a great opportunity to get to know my clients, but more so get to know ME. I mean, I am spending an entire wedding day with you. Why not get familiar with my bad jokes up front?
I say it over and over to my clients, whether they choose me or not. Finding the person that you feel comfortable with is important because they are your best friend the entire day. I play
