There is this joke that Diana and I share, about Junior. It happened straight from the get go (yes, I just went ghetto fab for a sec). In Diana’s first e-mail, she signed it Diana and “Junior in Spirit”. With my oh so sensitive habit, I thought to myself, Junior must have been someone dear to her who has past, and literally there in spirit. Hey, if people want to sign their names with people they love, I’m all for it! Of course, I later learned she was referencing her fiance, Junior. *doh! I later confessed at our meeting who I really thought “Junior” was to her. A forever joke.

There was something refresh and with instant delight when we met Diana and Junior. Diana and Junior met at work.

These were Diana’s female comrades. Diana is the first of the group to be married, and these gals were there with her every step of the way. They have all known each other since their teens!

Sunny day? Lets bring in some beautiful authentic umbrellas. No problem.

What I love? Their decision to incorporate the traditional PaeBaek Ceremony.

The parents will throw dates and chestnuts which the bride and groom will attempt to catch with the bride’s apron. The number of dates and chestnuts caught signify how many girls (dates) and boys (chestnuts) Diana and Junior will bear. I think faith told them they’ll bear about 20 kids. hooray!

Before the reception, we stole some portraits during the sunset.

The details of this wedding were beyond gorgeous!

One of the toasts ended up with someone serenading. Okay, more like rapping. She was repeating a verse from a song to the bride. Girl had some tricks up her sleeves!

And finally, the night ended with dancing. Another favorite scene of mine and let me tell you, they sure knew how to work it on the dance floor!

Thank you Diana and Junior for letting us share a beautiful day with you two. You both are simply amazing, funny, and sweetly kind hearted. xoxo to you both and many years of love and laughter.
