It was high tide and we were worried about heavy rain. Despite all that, the heat was over 100s as we explored Tanah Lot. We walked the cliffs, admired the temples, the architecture, and took a break at the cliffs where we enjoyed freshly cut coconut and juice…….and fries (because fries at any level of weather temperature is appropriate).

The sun quickly set behind the clouds, the water calmed down, and that’s when he found the perfect spot for it to happen. We casually jetted down to the shores and found a perfect spot away from the crowds (because he knew she wouldn’t like too many people around) and even more perfect, Tanah Lot sat in the background for this perfect proposal to happen.
